Adenike Ogunlesi born in Oxford, England, 1963. is the founder and CEO of Ruff ‘n’ Tumble, a Nigerian children’s clothing company. She started the business in 1996 when she needed pajamas for her children.

Ogunlesi started making clothes for her children with help from her mother, a dressmaker. She sold the clothes from the boot of her car and in bazaars. she identified a major gap in Nigeria’s fashion industry, there was a lack of high-quality, stylish, and locally made children’s clothing.

Under the umbrella of Gatimo Limited, Mrs. Ogunlesi expanded her fashion portfolio by introducing additional brands such as Ruff n Tumble a Nigerian children’s clothing company, Trendsetters and NaijaBoysz, catering to the unique fashion preferences of young adults and teenage boys, respectively.

Beyond Ruff ‘n’ Tumble, Adenike Ogunlesi has been involved in other business ventures and initiatives aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, fashion, and youth development in Nigeria.
